Some feedback…

“InterLEAD offer aspiring leaders the opportunity to network, learn inspirational techniques and relax in a tranquil setting through the Investing in Leadership experience. This is a great opportunity to reinvest in your professional learning, increase your confidence and broaden your leadership skill set. I came home feeling inspired to set new ideas into action – Thank you!”
Bobbie Warn, Fundamentals Preschool, Christchurch

“This course has taught me to be a professional and how to balance and cope with my personal beliefs, philosophy to the professional standards accepted for my role. I would recommend this course to anyone beginning their journey and even to those who already are. I have grown as a leader in this one year with you all.”
–Preety Sehgal, Milky Way Early Learning Centre, Northland

“Living springs was a wonderful opportunity to network with other leaders and share experiences whilst learning, gaining skills and knowledge from Karen, Liz and the rest of the team in such a peaceful environment.I took away new motivation and many fun memories from both visits.!”
–Claire Hedgman, Fundamentals Preschool, Christchurch

“I attended InterLEAD’s one year leadership course in 2017 and found it to be such a blessing. It was great to share my leadership journey with others all wanting to become better leaders, to learn new things, and to know that I was supported and not alone. The time at Living Springs gave me time to think about me rather than just all I had to do. InterLEAD’s support went above and beyond and I am very grateful for the opportunity I had to be part of this programme, I know I am a better leader because of it.”
–Katrina McNamara, The Ark Preschool, Nelson

“I found the leadership programme really rewarding the skills I have leant that I have implemented in my personal and professional life have made my role as a manager easier as I am more confident in what I am doing.”
–Alison Perkins, Mt Roskill Baptist Kindergaten, Auckland

I received so much out of this leadership course. I got to work with, and network, with an amazing group of leaders which is professional development in itself. The ‘retreat’ (being away as a group) enabled me to totally focus on my leadership. Through my mentoring with Ailsa I feel I have become a more confident and more effective leader. I have also got to know the other head teachers and we are able to share thoughts, ideas, and issues which certainly helps you feel a little less isolated as a head teacher. Even now a year later I feel they are there for me – we are there for each other.”
–Judi Sixsmith, Counties Manakau Kindergarten Association, Manakau

“An invigorating, innovative approach to leadership with the opportunity for deep and honest reflection and korero, alongside strangers who are connected in their passion for ECE in the beginning, and become whānau paddling in the same waka together at the end.”
–Erina Sosene, Kea Kids, Auckland
