Feedback from our participants:

“The Extraordinary Leadership for Extraordinary Times programme was very interesting and helpful. While some content was a great recap, much of the course focused on practical ways or models for thinking about and approaching areas of leadership. The regular, two-hour online sessions were facilitated very effectively by Stephen – he makes everyone feel valued, and the small online group size was perfect for deep discussion with peers from different settings. It’s a programme that delivers practical insights and great visual models without requiring a ton of homework. I’d recommend it to middle or new senior leaders looking to refresh and transform their approach.”

“All aspects of this programme have been helpful in that each topic introduced new information or touched on topics/ideas I was familiar with. It was great to revisit things and remind myself of strategies and tools I can use. My team reflected on each topic after the sessions and they all created useful conversation, triggering ideas or helping us to think of ways we could improve our leadership and strategic planning for our kura”

“[The] content was expertly delivered and very relevant  – Stephen is well read and really knew his stuff. He encouraged us to think and the group was small enough that we could get to know each other a little and interact.”

“I would like to say how much I appreciated and enjoyed this course and I really liked Stephen – he was approachable, on task and knew his content well. I would recommend this to others.”

“Very interesting [content]; very relevant; useful to have a presentation to dip in and out of for the discussions (helped to see the info being presented for us visual learners) and to receive the presentation slides and readings afterwards.”

“Stephen is a very talented facilitator of discussions (people don’t feel corrected or scared to contribute; instead they feel encouraged and their contributions valued and relevant to the discussions even if off on a tangent!)”

“It was helpful having a facilitator who could read the participants and respond accordingly to what learnings were beneficial (i.e. not fixed and inflexible, or just strictly keeping to the presentation).”

“I have found the sessions really engaging, positive and relevant. Stephen has done a great job. Please pass on our gratitude!”

“The “Reimaging vision” workshop… provided some of the most practical insight into shifts or activities I can engage my team in/work toward… this kaupapa has given me a model for moving toward that (vision) with my team. My colleague (also on the course) and I have also lead the HOF team in vision building mahi, using some of the kaupapa from this session.”
